The Wayfarers Contemporary Art Fair will be hosted in parallel with the Royal Birkdale Open Golf tournament. The Friday and Saturday are free, with a ticketed preview on Thursday evening.

Join us as Southport’s Wayfarers Arcade showcases and celebrates UK creative talent, including the best of fine art, design, food, drink and handmade goods, with thousands of works for sale from 100 exhibitors. To ensure a celebratory two days, the fair will also include art demonstrations, live music and family activity, with the resident café’s serving a special menu.

Preview tickets are £10 and include a complimentary drink on arrival and first chance to see and buy the art.Â

Directions
Wayfarers Arcade is located in the centre of Lord Street, Southport and is well served by car parking, train, bus and taxi services.

Parking
Southport is well served by pay and display parking. For proximity we recommend West Street Parking (PR8 1QS) on the site of the Wayfarers Arcade. Alternatively cars and coaches can park at the Marine Drive car park (PR8 1RX) for only £5.50 for the full day.

Hotels
Demand for accommodation to be at a premium locally due to huge the influx of visitors for The Open Golf Championship at Royal Birkdale. We suggest looking for hotels and air B&Bs slightly further afield in locations such as Preston (35 mins drive) or Wigan that is on a direct train line to Southport.

Access
The art fair is located on the ground and first floors with lift access to the balcony floor and accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor. The main entrance from Lord Street is fully accessible. However the arcade is Grade II listed, meaning the rear access from West Street and the main car parks has step access.
