Artistic Co-creation
Co-founder of Play On productions, Dr Alexis Johnson, has lectured on co-creation in West Africa, Brazil and Europe for British Council and European Capitals of Culture. Her talk will explore how fostering a culture of co-creation can strengthen the cultural ecology of a town or city, by supporting resource poor but talent rich artists to achieve their artistic ambition. She’ll also examine the pitfalls of co-creation against the value of adopting co-creation as an art making process.

Art Consultant & founder of Modern Contemporary Art Gallery, Jackie Sarafopoulos, will deliver a free talk on sustainable art practice for artists and galleries. The talk will look at how to move local practice in the direction of a global audience. She will give an overview of the art market ecosystem, including pricing and sales channels. Plus, explore client relationship and professional practice.
