Tina Dempsey is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is deeply rooted in exploring and understanding the concept of place. Over the last six years, she has focused extensively on the Fylde Coast, using the act of walking as a tool to connect with the landscape and its cultural context as a rich source of inspiration.Â
Her work, which includes installation, collage and artist books, has been showcased in solo exhibitions, group shows and a diverse range of socially engaged community projects, creating art that fosters connections and reflects local identities.Â
Most recently, a series of artist residencies has further supported her exploration, allowing her to deepen her practice and develop new insights into the relationship between art, place, and walking.
Held on the historic Lord Street, southport in the victorian glass arcade built in 1898 – The Wayfarers Arcade with its beautiful art nouveau shopfronts and windows.
